We want to wish the wonderful Bernice Volz a huge congratulations on an extremely well-deserved OAM for her service to conservation and to the environment!
Bernice has been instrumental in the protection of the beautiful Karawatha Forest where we take our year 6 students to Wander the Way of the Water. Throughout the day, we learn about her journey saving Karawatha as we follow in the footsteps of her first journeys of discovery within the forest, listening deeply to the place and marvelling at the home it creates for 742 different native plant and animal species.
We think you're extraordinary Bernice and cannot thank you enough for all you have done for us and for Karawatha.
