We are very excited to welcome your children to Kindy on Country!  We wish to extend our gratitude to the First Nations elders who have generously shared their time and wisdom to assist us in the development of this program.

Kindy on Country aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework, ensuring that 'all children experience learning that is engaging and builds success for life'. At PEEC, children will participate in activities to support their Identity, Connectedness, Wellbeing, Active learning and Communication skills.

We invite your children to step into the Blanket Role of a Nature Explorer for the day as they experience arts-based play and grow their understanding of First Nations wisdom through nature connection.

The PEEC teaching team will provide children with the opportunity t​o explore positive interactions between themselves, each other and place in a warm and inclusive learning environment. The day will involve a series of activities in which children engage in authentic learning that encourages their curiosity and enthusiasm, celebrating their strengths and success. Children will be supported in their creative expression through artwork, dance and storytelling.​

​​This program is available throughout the year, subject to space and teacher availability. It ​​​takes place at the Pullenvale Environmental Education Centre (no external site visits). See Maps and Transport for location details.
