Blanket Role - Modern-Day Bush Kids

Bush Kids understand our actions make an impact - ‘The Ripple Effect’.

Bush Kids use their scientific and historical knowledge and understanding of place, and a deep connection to nature, to inspire them to work together to solve environmental problems and make a difference in their local community. Children working together can solve environmental problems and make a difference.

The Hoodwinked! Storythread is about a group of children (The Bush Kids of Pullen Pullen Creek) living in the Pullenvale area in the 1890’s who possess a great deal of knowledge about their place and as a result understand and care for it deeply and take action to protect it.​​

The Hoodwinked! excursion day takes place at the Pullenvale Environmental Education Centre, with an off-site visit to Pullenvale Forest Park during the day (a 10 minute walk from the centre). See Maps and Transport for location details.​
